I was living in Kobe, Japan, and I was in Sacred Heart Girls School until age 12, and I was playing violin from since I was 3 years old like a hobby
When I came to Prague, Czech Republic, there were more opportunities to get in touch with professional musicians and their concert, and the first time I heard the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra playing the Má vlast, on the Prague Spring concert, I got more deeply passionate especially about classical music.
I wrote this piece because I wanted to give something to my elder sister who is graduating this year, and when I think about giving something, the song with emotional lyrics could be the best way to tell my feeling and also it will remain in her heart for long time after her graduation. Her graduation will be the first time I and she will be apart and going to different school, so I wrote this piece with little loneliness and big encouragement.
